Strawberries for $1.39 ! ! ? ?

Good Morning!! Last night I went to bed rather late because I was seeking for an answer to WHY Florida is exempt from Doubling on their coupons... Well, I still haven't found a precise reason. In my research however I found something that was rather interesting on how to save some extra money at the grocery store.

As many of you have already seen in the Wal-Mart commercials, they "match any price" Well this also applies to Produce; For those of you with ALDI stores around you, you know that they have very inexpensive food. Well I saw a few people writing about how Wal-Mart will also match the price of produce b/c brand doesn't apply in this area. So, as long as you have the circular with you (just to be on the safe side), they will match your produce price... I will be trying this, in the next couple of days...

So here is what is on sale at ALDI this week (July 6-12, 2011)

COUPONING!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!! I HAVE BEEN GONE FOR A WHILE BUT I'M BACK!!! Let's just say I have couponed as long as I learned and watched my grandmother do it, BUT I'm doing SOOOOOO much more of it now. I have really been working on lowering my grocery bill and have been doing pretty well. The day before yesterday I saved a total of $51.00! I have actually been able to save more in the past few months but this is just the most recent one for me.

Well, Eating out is still a great way to treat yourself (mom) by not having to cook a meal after a long day, I think we should all schedule and budget for those days... But I am encouraging all of you good stewards out there, to take up couponing and enjoy more of your hard earned money on other things. You can take your kids to somewhere fun, or get that cute purse or shoes that are on the clearance rack.

School is right around the corner, and you all know that nice long list of items we have to purchase for each of our kids... it ALL ADDS UP! So, if you can save money on your groceries, you'll be able to manage the school list along with the clothes, shoes, backpacks, etc.

Couponing takes a little work and time, but in the long run it's WORTH every penny saved!! I will continue to let you know about the yummy places to eat with your family AND what great deals are out there that you can sieze!

Texas de Brazil ~ New Family Tradition

As some may know I didn't have any access to the internet, but I'm back!!

Texas de Brazil, the place I have been dying to tell you about for about a month now. I know you are thinking, "wow that place is pricey", but it doesn't have to be.

This past Christmas we started a new family tradition; to get all dressed up and go out to dinner for the Christmas season. We chose Texas de Brazil for a few reasons... We love the food there, it's a different experience for the kids, it's not a quiet restaurant; (so it's great if you're taking your children), it has beautiful decor, and again the food is just great and you can eat till your heart's content! This is NOT your typical buffet..

They have brazilian sausage, filet mignon, bacon wrapped filet mignon, ribs, chicken parmesan, bacon wrapped chicken, lamb, and the list goes on. Their salad bar is a foodies dream, there is so much to choose from. Fresh lettuce, bacon strips (that are thick), artichoke hearts, palm hearts, fried provolone cheese, shrimp, sushi, olives, fresh warm bread, rice, lobster bisque (my favorite), orzo, and so much more.... my mouth waters just thinking about it. It's a "must go!!"

But of course like I promise, you've got to get a great deal to go with that great meal!! First off I will start saying if you sign up on their website for their email listing (as usual) you will get a coupon emailed to you instantly. For your birthday, anniversary, and holidays you get GREAT coupons!

1) I had a coupon for a BUY 1 dinner at regular price and GET 1 FREE!! (Which I got for my anniversary)

So our family of 7 which only 6 of us actually eat b/c my 7 month old doesn't yet, ate at this place for a total of $65.00 including the tip!!

Something FREE @ Disney!! WHAT?!?!?!?

I KNOW!! IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE SOMETHING AT DISNEY WOULD BE FREE!! A good friend of mine told me about this place called Ft. Wilderness. It's another part of Disney and we are going there this weekend to kick off my son's 5th birthday.

Why do you wanna go?? Well this is what they offer: Movie night under the stars... How magical!!

They show Disney movies on a nightly basis for FREE!!! Parking is FREE and the movie is FREE!!
At 6:30 pm they start the lighting of the bon fires, that's right, you heard me!! Bon fires for you and your family to enjoy making s'mores. You can bring your own s'mores ingredients or they sell s'mores kits for only $5 bux. After that's done, they have a 30 min sing-along for everyone to enjoy. Once that's over the featured movie begins.... It's a little like camping... and it's so affordable for your family b/c it's completely FREE!!!

TOY STORY 3 !!!

Hi! I know it's been a while... Sorry about that, life of course can get hectic around here.. you know with 5 kids and all..
But I have a wonderful "gift" for you all! That's right, there is an $8 dollar coupon waiting for you to print out for your TOY STORY 3 purchase tomorrow. It was just a dream

This is so funny and couldn't believe it happened, but I had a dream last night about Target...
Yes, I was dreaming about Target (the store)!

I dreamed that I was at a Target shopping for some great clearance deals, and had a bunch of stuff in my hands... and next thing I know, all of the lights went out in the store... The people who worked there said, " we don't know what's going on, but we won't be able to run your purchases." I became so sad that I couldn't buy what I had.
Go figure... hahahaha

But it was just a dream.... or in my case a small nightmare... :-)
